Biography

Angelina Jolie Voight (born June 4, 1975 in Los Angeles) is an American film actress, former fashion model and goodwill ambassador of UNICEF. She has won three Golden Globe and an Oscar. Jolie several times is condemned as the most beautiful woman in the world. 
 
Early life 
        Angelina Jolie is daughter of the famous Hollywood actor Jon Voight and of former model Marcheline Bertrand. After the divorce of her parents in 1976, Angelina and her brother James Haven were raised by their mother. At 16 years Jolie graduated at the elite high school in Beverly Hills.

Career 
     At age of 14 Angelina Jolie began to work as a model for Finesse Model Management. At that time she also appeared in several music videos.
     After a successful model career, Jolie decides to devote herself in film career, and the first small, supporting role she got in 1993 in "Cyborg II". After two years Jolie plays a small role acting hacker in the movie "Hackers". During this period Angelina Jolie becomes a subject of many topics in the American public life and beyond, with her intrigue-full love life and the first tattoos on her body which made Jolie recognizable.
     The success in the field of acting comes after the role in the movie about the life of George Wallace, for this role Angelina was nominated for the "Emmy" award. After this she begins to appear into a lot of talk show on U.S. television stations, and become more present on the front pages of the most  circulated magazines.
     In 1997 the director Michael Christopher took Jolie in the prime role in the movie "Gia", a biographical movie about a model that destroys her life with drugs.

     In 1998 she joined the fantastic teamt which includes Sean Connery, Gina Rovlands, Anthony Edwards, Gillian Anderson, Ryan Philippe and Madeleine Stowe in "Playing by hearth". For the role in "Girl,Interrupted" Angelina Jolie gets the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.
     In 2001 she achieved her greatest success with the role in "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider," a film based on the famous video game. In this film in the role of the father of Lara Croft appears her real father John Voigt.
     In the period from 2003 to 2004 Angelina Jolie shoots the films "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: the cradle of life", "Beyond Borders", "Taking lives," "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow ", "Alexander".
     Angelina Jolie only confirms her acting superiority from 2005-2008 with many movies especially with:"Mr. and Mrs. Smith", "The Good Shepherd", "Beowulf", and "Wanted"
     In 2010 Jolie acts in the movie "Salt".
     Angelina Jolie is currently filming her newest movie-"The Tourist" in which she will share the main role with Johnny Depp.
